The Grand Master’s theme for 2011 is reflected in the image below: like Mt. McKinley, Stand Tall & Strong, and as Alaskans, Helping One Another.

Alaska’s Freemasonry is only as strong as its foundation. Every once in a while we need to check our foundations to ensure they are solid. There is no better way than to bring a brother, especially one of our older brothers, to Lodge. These men are our foundation. I urge you to listen to them and learn from them. We are a Brotherhood from the oldest to the youngest we Stand Tall & Strong by Helping One Another. Consider this: Do you enjoy the camaraderie of Lodge night? Do you think a Brother with 50 or more years in Freemasonry would enjoy Lodge night, also? Search out those older brothers, let them know they are not forgotten and the foundation of our fraternity will remain strong and solid.

So what can I do to help?

Sometimes we all get wrapped up in our individual efforts and need to remember we are one common group of fellows. Pay close attention to your charges and act accordingly.
